Setup

Use the canonical pixel route

Klinky conversion requests use the documented Worker route with a link ID and the variant ID that reached the conversion page.

  • Pixel URL format: https://klinky.io/pixel?lid=LINK_ID&v=VARIANT_ID.
  • The link ID identifies the Klinky link.
  • The variant ID identifies the destination variant shown to the visitor.

Attribution

Pass the variant ID from your destination flow

Your destination page or tag manager should preserve the variant ID and send it with the pixel request. Klinky records the conversion signal, but it does not infer downstream business context from external systems.

  • Store the selected variant in a URL parameter, cookie, session, or checkout attribute.
  • Fire the pixel only after the conversion action happens.
  • Keep your own analytics, checkout, CRM, or workflow logs as the source for business outcomes.

Review

Use conversion signals as one input

Conversion events can appear alongside clicks and variant activity for a link. Use those signals during manual review before deciding whether to change weights or promote a destination.

Save the workflow in Klinky when a single test link needs reliable routing, editable destinations, and link-level analytics.

Does the pixel automatically decide a winner?
